No longer at my side, but forever in my heart
04/21/03 - 07/20/16 Riley was a stray, found in New York, and rescued at 18 months old. Agility classes saved her! At age six, she worked as a therapy dog. Looking for an image to put on her hospital uniform, the Hovawart breed was discovered. An email to AHC confirmed that Riley may be a Hovawart. Riley attended the 2010 AHC Event where a Judge declared her a purebred. She was a dog who excelled at Agility, but loved to cuddle the child in the hospital. She shared her joy with all.
CHI BOWIE OF TREUEN FREUND 5/16/01-12/28/15 I miss waking up to Chi in my face...just breathing, and then his smile when my eyes opened! We are so very fortunate to have had him in our lives for so long.
Rebecca was one of the original 8 dogs rescued from an Amish puppy mill in Missouri in 2005. "Rebecca came to us as a rescue, but left as a true friend and companion. She was a great dog who overcame her tragic beginning and learned to enjoy life and those around her, both four-legged and two-legged."
